On the Analytic “Causal” Model for the QCD Running Coupling

چکیده
We discuss the model ᾱan(Q ) recently proposed for the QCD running coupling ᾱs(Q ) in the Euclidean domain on the basis of the “asymptotic–freedom” expression and on causality condition in the form of the Q-analyticity. The model contains no adjustable parameters and obeys the important features: (i) Finite ghost-free behavior in the “low Q” region and correspondence with the standard RG-summed UV expressions;(ii) The universal limiting value ᾱan(0) expressed only via group symmetry factors. This value as well as the ᾱan behavior in the whole IR region Q ≤ Λ turns out to be stable with respect to higher loop corrections; (iii) Coherence between observed ᾱs(M 2 τ ) value and integral information on the IR ᾱs(Q ) behavior extracted from jet physics.

New analytic running coupling in spacelike and timelike regions
The model for the QCD analytic running coupling, proposed recently, is extended to the timelike region. This running coupling naturally arises under unification of the analytic approach to QCD and the renormalization group (RG) formalism. A new method for determining the coefficients of the “analytized” RG equation is elaborated. It enables one to take into account the higher loop contributions...
متن کاملNew Analytic Running Coupling in Qcd: Higher Loop Levels
The properties of the new analytic running coupling are investigated at the higher loop levels. The expression for this invariant charge, independent of the normalization point, is obtained by invoking the asymptotic freedom condition. It is shown that at any loop level the relevant β function has the universal behaviors at small and large values of the invariant charge. Due to this feature the...
متن کاملStrong coupling constant to four loops in the analytic approach to QCD
The QCD analytic running coupling αan which has no nonphysical singularities for all Q2 > 0 is considered for the initial perturbation theory approximations up to four loop order. The finiteness of the analytic coupling at zero is shown to be a consequence of the asymptotic freedom property of the initial theory. The nonperturbative contributions to the analytic coupling are extracted explicitl...
متن کاملCan the QCD running coupling have a causal analyticity structure?
Solving the QCD renormalization group equation at the 2-loop and 3-loop orders we obtain explicit expressions for the coupling as a function of the scale in terms of the Lambert W function. We study the nature of the “Landau singularities” in the complex Q2 plane and show that perturbative freezing can lead, in certain cases, to an analyticity structure that is consistent with causality. We ana...
متن کاملData Envelopment Analysis from simulation on the Lattice QCD using CCR model
One of the most serious principles in production theory in economic is the principle of "efficiency". Simply put, efficiency can be defined as the demand that the desired goals (outputs) are achieved with the minimum use of the available resources (inputs). In order to, distinguish the relative efficiency of organizational units with multiple inputs to produce multiple outputs, "Data Envelopmen...
